Die Bechermalve wird aufgrund ihres buschigen Wuchses auch Buschmalve genannt. Die zarten Malvenblüten erscheinen ab Juli bis Oktober in einem schönen Rosa mit feiner Aderung und einem hellen Weiß. Da sie aus dem Mittelmeerraum stammt, ist sie nicht frosthart. Sie sind gut geeignet fürs Staudenbeet oder im Vorgarten und optisch besonders hübsch vor einem Holzzaun.

Aussaat & Anbau:
Aussaat entweder schon ab Februar im Haus oder ab Ende April direkt ins Freiland. Um der Brennfleckenkrankheit vorzubeugen, Samen vor Aussaat in Stoffsäckchen 30 Minuten in 45 bis 50°C warmes Wasser geben. Danach kann ausgesät werden.
