Die Mimulus luteus tigrinus ‚Grandiflorus‘ hat den deutschen Namen Gauklerblume ‚Grandiflorus‘ und stammt aus der Familie der Scrophulariaceae. Die Staude befindet sich in der deutschen Familie der Braunwurzgewächse. Das Besondere an dieser Pflanze sind die gelben Blüten, die während der Blütephase zwischen Juli und September rotbraue Flecken haben. Diese rotbraunen Flecken sind charakteristisch für die Gauklerblume und zugleich ein Erkennungsmerkmal.

Aussaat & Anbau:
Die Samen von März bis April in einer Brutstätte oder in Palettenpflanzgefäßen säen. Bedecken Sie die Samen nicht mit Erde. Am besten drückt man sie mit einem kleinen Brett in den Boden. Die Samen keimen in ungefähr zwei Wochen. Die Pflanzen bevorzugen fruchtbare leichte Humusböden. Die Erde feucht halten und die Pflanzen in halbschattigen Lagen halten. Je feuchter der Boden ist, desto mehr bevorzugen die Pflanzen sonnige Standorte.
