Info:
Die Karotte `Berlicum` ist nach einer niederländischen Kleinstadt benannt und wird von Feinschmeckern sehr geschätzt. Sie bringt lange, an der Spitze abgerundete, süße und knackig-zarte orangefarbene Möhren hervor, die bis zu 20 cm lang werden können. Die Karotten reifen relativ früh und eignen sich auch für Frühbeete und die sukzessive Aussaat über den ganzen Sommer. Die Sorte ist resistent gegen den Karottenbrand und lässt sich auch gut lagern.
Aussaat & Anbau:
Aussaat ab Februar im Frühbeet, bis August im Freiland möglich. Sehr dünn säen, das erspart das spätere Ausdünnen. Am besten die Saat mit einer Handvoll Sand mischen und in Reihen ausstreuen. Immer gut feucht halten. Karotten mögen sandige, durchlässige Böden. Nicht zuviel düngen, sonst entwickeln die Karotten viel kleine Haarwurzeln.
