Die Möhrensorte „Frühmöhre oder Erste Ernte“ (Daucus carota) ist eine frühe Sorte, die ca. nach 110 Tagen nach der Aussaat reife Wurzeln entwickelt und geerntet werden kann. Diese Kulturvarietät eignet sich prima für den Anbau auf dem Feld und unter Abdeckungen und wird für die sogenannte Bündelernte empfohlen. Die Sorte akkumuliert keine Nitrate. Die mittelgroßen Wurzeln erreichen eine Länge von ca. 11-13 cm. Sie nehmen eine konische, reguläre Form an und haben einen eher dünnen Kern. Das orangefarbene Fruchtgemüse ist leicht süßlich und enthält viel Karotin. Die Wurzeln sind knackig, saftig, beinhalten viel Zucker und eignen sich prima für den Direktverzehr. Aus ihnen kann man leckere Salate, Säfte und Pürees zubereiten. Die Möhre ist ein wertvolles Gemüse, das reich an Vitaminen und Mineralstoffen ist.

Aussaat & Anbau:
Die Möhrensorte wird aus der Direktsaat gezogen. Die Möhresamen werden für die Frühlingernte im späten Herbst oder zu Frühlingsbeginn und für die Herbsternte bis Ende Juni ausgesät. Die Kultur sollte in Reihen, im Abstand von je 25-35 cm, ausgesät werden. Falls nötig, dünnen Sie die Sämlinge nach dem Auflaufen so aus, dass sie in 5 cm Abstände wachsen. Ein sonniger Standort garantiert Ihnen eine reiche Ernte. Vor allem bevorzugt die Möhrensorte humosen, feuchten, durchlässigen Boden.
