Sie bevorzugt einen sonnigen bis halbschattigen Standort und ein durchlässiges Substrat. Staunässe und im Topf stehendes Wasser führen unvermeidlich zu Fäulnisbildung. Aussaat & Anbau:
Aussaat ins Freiland von März bis April. Samen 0,5 – 1 cm mit Erde bedecken. Die Keimung erfolgt innerhalb von 10 – 14 Tagen bei 12 – 18°C Bodentemperatur. Regelmäßig gießen und die Pflanze zwischenzeitlich abtrocknen lassen. Centaurea cyanus ‚Blauer Junge‘ wächst aufrecht und erreicht gewöhnlich eine Höhe von 40 – 60 cm und wird bis zu 20 – 30 cm breit. Dies ist eine schnell wachsende Pflanze.
