Sedum acre bietet Bienen und anderen Insekten Nahrung. Gartenfreunde schätzen den Scharfen Mauerpfeffer an stark besonnten Plätzen. Aussaat & Anbau:
Er wächst bevorzugt auf steinigem Boden und wird daher auch oft zur Dekoration von Steingärten und Trockenmauern verwendet. Er hat leuchtende, goldgelbe Blütenblätter mit einer Blühzeit von Juni bis August. Diese anspruchslose Sedumpflanze ist sehr robust und verträgt viel Trockenheit da sie in in seinen Blättern Wasser speichert.
