Die Merviole, oder auch Standviole genannt, ist eine schnell blühende, ca. 30 cm große Einjährige mit vielen kleinen Blüten in den Farben rosa, lila und weiß, die einen kräftigen süßen Duft verströmen. Durch ihr schnelles Wachstum und Blüte eignet sie sich gut als Zwischen-Aussaat z.B. auf abgeblühten Blumenzwiebelbeeten, wo sie einen hübschen, duftenden Blütenteppich bildet. Da die Blüte nur ca. 6 Wochen anhält, empfiehlt sich eine Folgesaat oder ein Rückschnitt für eine zweite Blüte.

Aussaat & Anbau:
Die Aussaat erfolgt ab März bis Juni ins Freiland. Sie Samen nur leicht mit Erde bedecken. Die Strandlevkoje gedeiht auch gut in kühleren Temperaturen und rauhen Lagen. Der Boden sollte mäßig nährstoffreich und durchlässig sein.
