Minze Spearmint Samen
Info:
Spearmint wird auch Grüne Minze oder Marokkanische Minze genannt. Sie ist die klassische englische Küchenminze. Im Gegensatz zur bekannten Pfeffer-Minze hat sie einen nicht ganz so scharfen, sondern eher frischen Minzgeschmack. Der beliebte Cocktail Mojito oder auch das erfrischende Sommergetränk Hugo hingegen wird meist mit der Grünen Minze hergestellt. Die Pflanzen wachsen kräftig aufrecht, die Blätter sind leuchtend grün, manchmal fast kraus und die Blüten hell-violett.
Aussaat & Anbau:
Die Aussaat erfolgt ab März in Vorkultur in Töpfen oder Schalen. Die Samen nur ein wenig andrücken, da sie Licht zum Keimen brauchen. Später die Keimlinge in 15 cm-Töpfe umpflanzen. Auspflanzen nachdem die letzten Fröste vorbei sind. Mentha spicata mag einen normalen, gut durchlässigen Gartenboden und einen sonnigen bis halbschattigen Platz. Für ein kräftiges, buschiges Wachstum, kappen Sie der Pflanze am besten die Spitzen.
