Diese zweifarbige Radieschensorte ist seit ca. 1883 auch unter dem Namen „Radis rose à bout blanc“ bekannt. Sie bildet recht scharfe, murmelgröße, scharlachrot-weiße Knollen mit weißem Fruchtfleisch. Mit zunehmender Größe mildert die Schärfe etwas ab. Passt hervorragend als würziger Brotbelag oder zu Salaten. Das knackige, frische Gemüse ist zudem noch reich an Vitaminen und Mineralien.

Description
Aussaat & Anbau:
Die Aussaat kann ab März direkt ins Freiland erfolgen. Die Samen sollten in Saatrillen mit einer Tiefe von 1cm gesäet werden. Für ein optimales und gesundes Wachstum sollte der Pflanzabstand 4cm betragen. Ein humoser, nährstoffreicher, durchlässiger Boden ist optimal. Der Boden sollte oberflächlich aufgelockert und mit Gartenkompost und Horngries angereichert werden. Da Radieschen Flachwurzler sind, ziehen sie Ihre Nährstoffe aus der oberen Bodenschicht. Auf gleichmäßige Feuchtigkeit muss geachtet werden.
