Der wilde Rucola (Rauke) hat stärker gezackte Blätter und eine deutlichere Schärfe als die kultivierte Form. Die Pflanzen sind zuverlässig, kräftig und produzieren gleichmäßig von Frühjahr bis Herbst die schlanken, dunkelgrünen, tief gelappten Blätter.
Frisch verleiht er Salaten eine pfeffrige Note, eignet sich auch als Bett für Meeresfrüchte und Fischgerichte. Verwenden Sie Blätter, wenn sie jung und zart sind, für eine milde Schärfe, wenn sie reif sind werden sie richtig pfeffrig scharf.

Description
Aussaat & Anbau:
Die Aussaat erfolgt sukzessive ab März bis Mai oder im September im Freiland. Saattiefe: 6 mm tief mit 3 cm Abstand und in Reihen mit ca. 45 – 60 cm Abstand. Rucola mag einen reichhaltigen Boden, wächst aber auch auf durchschnittlichem oder sogar lehmigen Gartenboden gut. Vor der Aussaat den Boden mit Horngries düngen und danach regelmäßig wässern, Salat darf nicht austrocknen, sonst steckt er seine Kraft in die Blütenbildung.
