Der japanische Senfkohl „Green in the Snow“ macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Die Pflanze ist äußerst frostbeständig und daher bestens geeignet um im Winter frisches Blattgemüse zu ernten. Das schnellwüchsige, gesunde Gemüse kann als Spätkultur im Herbst gepflanzt werden. Mit seinen scharfen, leuchtend grünen, gezahnten Blättern ist er eine ideale Beigabe zu Salaten.
Aussaat & Anbau:
Die Aussaat kann ab März direkt ins Freiland erfolgen. Entweder sät man breitwürfig oder in Reihen mit einem Reihenabstand von 30cm. Die Saattiefe sollte 1-2 cm betragen. Der Senf ist sehr pflegeleicht, daher stellt er keine besonderen Ansprüche an Boden oder Standort. Optimal wäre ein sonniger Standort mit durchlässigem, humosem Boden.
