Info:
Limnanthes douglasii ist eine einjährige, kompakt wachsende, blühfreudige Pflanze die Wuchshöhen von 15 cm erreicht.
Von Juli bis September (je nach Aussaatzeitpunkt) erscheinen die schalenförmigen, duftenden, gelb-weißen Blüten die Schwebfliegen anlocken, die dann die Blattläuse tilgen.
Schöner Bodendecker. Ebenfalls gut geeignet für Beetränder oder die Topfkultur.
Wird der Samen im Spätsommer bis Herbst im Kalthaus vorgezogen, blüht die Spiegelei-Blume bereits schon im Frühjahr.
Aussaat & Anbau:
Direktaussaat ab Mai im Freiland.
Die Samen vor der Ausssaat über Nacht in Wasser einweichen, anschließend
an Ort und Stelle ausbringen, nur leicht mit Erde bedecken.
Die Keimdauer beträgt 1-3 Wochen.
