Die Trompetenzunge ist eine mehrjährige (meist einjährig kultivierte) krautige Pflanze mit fiederspaltigen Blättern, die eine Wuchshöhe von 80 bis 100 cm erreicht. Im Sommer (Juni bis September) erscheinen trichterförmige, bis zu 6 cm große, farbenfrohe, samtige Blüten – besonders auffällig sind die Adern die sich farblich abheben.

Description
Aussaat & Anbau:
Die Samen auf die zuvor befeuchtete Aussaaterde legen und andrücken, nicht mit Erde bedecken. Das Substrat gleichmäßig feucht, aber nicht nass halten.
Ideal ist ein Zimmergewächshaus. Bitte regelmäßig lüften um Schimmelbildung vorzubeugen. Einen hellen und warmen (ca. 20°C) Standort wählen. Die Keimdauer beträgt 2-4 Wochen.
Sobald die Pflanzen kräftig genug sind, können sie ins Beet (ab Ende Mai) gepflanzt werden, Pflanzabstand: 20-30 cm.
