Kräftig scharfe, würzige Zwiebel mit kugelrunder Form und strohgelber bis hellbrauner Schale.
Durch die Robustheit der Pflanzen und die lange Lagerfähigkeit ist die Sorte bei Hausgärtnern sehr beliebt. Die Zwiebel halten sich bis in den April. Der Anbau ist leicht, eine gute Sorte auch für Zwiebelanbau-Neulinge.
Rijnsburger ist nach einem kleinen Ort in den Niederlanden benannt.

Description
Aussaat & Anbau:
Die Aussaat kann von März bis April erfolgen und man sät dünn in Reihen. Die Samen werden dann in ca. 2-facher Samenstärke mit Erde bedeckt, gut angedrückt und feucht gehalten. Nach der Keimung können die Sämlinge vereinzelt werden. Die Wintereinlagerung erst dann vornehmen, wenn das Laub vollkommen abgereift ist. Die Aussaat sollte auf einem lockeren, kräftigen Boden, der nicht vorgedüngt ist, stattfinden. Die Ernte kann dann ab September erfolgen.
