Den Chinesischen Spinat können Sie als Gemüse verwenden. Die großen, hellgrünen Blätter, die würzig spinatähnlich oder auch wie Artischocken schmecken, werden am Besten gedünstet oder auch roh verzehrt.
Die kleinen glutenfreien Samenkörner können Sie einem Müsli beigeben oder gemahlen zur Herstellung von Brei, Fladen und Teigwaren verwenden.

Aussaat & Anbau:
Voranzucht ab April, Pflanzung ins Freiland ab Mitte Mai; fortlaufende Ernte der jungen Blätter. Aussaat im Garten sollte Mitte Mai beginnen, und zwar in einem Reihenabstand von 20 bis 30 cm. Die Pflanze verträgt gut Trockenheit, kann sich aber auch unter alltäglichen Bedingungen gut entwickelt.
