Diese pflegeleichte und einfach zu kultivierende Pflanze kann problemlos aus Samen gezogen werden. Der frühe Frühling ist der perfekte Zeitpunkt, um die Samen zum Frühlingsabschied auf eine Brutstätte zu säen, um die Setzlinge bereits im Mai in die Grenzen verpflanzen zu können. Sie können die Samen auch mitten im Frühjahr direkt auf den Boden säen. Godetia wächst am besten und blüht reichlich in den sonnigen Teilen des Gartens. Sie bevorzugt schwere nährstoffreiche und ausreichend feuchte Böden.
